Early '50s Blackguard warmth, open to the air. The T-50 is wound to capture the open, unhurried character of the first Telecaster neck pickups — warm without going dark, present without pushing. No cover means nothing between the coil and the string. What you get is the pickup as it was built, unfiltered. For players chasing that early Blackguard voice — the sweet spot before Fender started winding them hotter.
